Charnwood Water is a former clay pit situated off Tuckers Road, Loughborough, which is now a local beauty spot, offerign a lovely scenic wooded walk around the lake. It covers an area of some 27.12 acres and is used mainly for leisure purposes by the general public.
It is a great place for a walk or a picnic, and is wheelchair/buggy friendly. There is a car park and disabled toilets. There is also a steam railway nearby which adds to the charm of this lovely area on the edge of Loughborough.
